MAPLE WALNUT PIE 
1 c. pure maple or maple flavored syrup
4 beaten eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter, melted
1 1/3 c. broken walnuts
1 unbaked 9" pastry shell

In a medium size mixing bowl, combine syrup, eggs, sugar, butter and a dash of salt. Mix until smooth. Add walnuts. Pour into pastry shell. Cover edge of pie with foil to prevent over browning. Bake in 350 degree oven 15 minutes. Remove foil; bake 25 minutes more or until filling is set.
