MARSHMALLOW - CEREAL BARS 
3 tbsp. butter
25 lg. marshmallows or 3 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
5 c. Triples cereal

Grease square pan, 8 x 8 x 2 inches, or rectangular pan, 13 x 9 x 2 inches. Place butter and marshmallows in large microwavable bowl. Microwave uncovered on high 1 1/2 to 3 minutes, stirring after 1 minute until mixture is melted and smooth when stirred. Stir in cereal until well coated. Press mixture in pan, using buttered back of spoon; cool. Makes 16 to 24 bars.

RANGE - TOP DIRECTIONS: Heat butter and marshmallows in 3 quart saucepan over low heat until melted; remove from heat. Stir in cereal until well coated. Continue as directed.

HIGH ALTITUDE DIRECTIONS (3500 TO 6500 FEET) : Microwave butter in microwavable bowl until melted; stir in marshmallows. Microwave on medium (50%) 2 minutes; stir until mixture is blended and smooth. Continue as directed. For Range-top Directions, no adjustments are necessary.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
