EASY VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 lb. ground beef
3 1/2 c. water
1 c. chopped onion
5 beef bouillon cubes
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 c. sliced carrots
1 tsp. salt
1 c. sliced celery
1/4 tsp. dried basil
1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 (15 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 pkg. frozen green beans
1/4 c. rice

Cook ground beef, onion and garlic in Dutch oven until beef is brown. Drain off fat. Add remaining ingredients except green beans. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered, 40 minutes. Add beans, simmer until tender. Makes 6 generous servings.
