STUFFED BACON ROLLS 
2 c. soft bread crumbs
1 c. cooking apples, finely chopped
1 tbsp. finely chopped onion
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
10 slices bacon

In a mixing bowl, combine bread crumbs, apple, onion, salt and pepper. Add milk and egg. Mix well. Cut each slice of bacon in half crosswise. Shape crumb mixture into balls, using 1 tablespoon for each. Wrap each ball in a half of a bacon slice. Secure with a wooden toothpick.

Place bacon wraps on a wire rack. Set in a 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan or a broiler pan. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 30 minutes or until bacon is brown. Serve immediately. Note: Make ahead and refrigerate. Bake right before serving. Makes 20.
