PEAR SUPREME 
2 1/2 c. ground pears
5 1/2 c. sugar
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (do not drain)
1/4 c. lemon juice
1/2 c. ground maraschino cherries
1 pkg. pectin

Mix all fruit and pectin. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add sugar. Bring to hard boil and cook for 4 minutes. Skim rapidly, pour into hot jars and seal. Hot water bath 5 minutes. Makes 6 (8 ounce) jars.
