BEEF BRISKET BAR-B-Q 
4 to 5 lb. well trimmed beef fresh brisket
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. catsup
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
1 bay leaf crumbled
1/4 tsp. pepper

Rub meat with salt. Place in ungreased baking dish. Stir together remaining ingredients, pour over meat. Cover tightly; bake in 250 degree oven all day. Baste occasionally.
