YUM YUM SALAD 
#2 can crushed pineapple, undrained
2/3 c. sugar
1 box lemon Jello
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 c. celery, cut fine
1 c. peeled chopped apples
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 pkg. Dream Whip

Combine pineapple and sugar. Boil 3 minutes. Add Jello and the cream cheese (softened at room temperature). Stir until completely dissolved and mixed. Cool until mixture starts to congeal. Add celery, apples and nuts. Prepare Dream Whip (omitting vanilla). Fold into Jello mixture. Pour into pyrex dish. Chill 6 hours.
