BERNYCE'S OVERNITE SALAD 
1 lg. can chunk pineapple, drained, cut chunks in half
1 can Mandarin oranges, drained, cut oranges in half
3/4 lb. marshmallows, cut up small
1 pkg. almonds, blanched

Get all these things ready in large bowl. The marshmallows on top.

CUSTARD:

3 egg yolks
1 pinch salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 pt. cream

Cook this mixture on medium heat until it starts to thicken or until bottom of pan starts getting coated. Pour hot mixture onto marshmallows and stir all together. Whip up the rest of the whipping cream (1/2 pint) and fold together gently all ingredients. Pour into pretty bowl or into casserole dish. Put in refrigerator overnight and it will thicken.
