ST. PAUL'S RICE | |
1 lb. pork sausage 1 chopped bell pepper 1 chopped onion 1 stalk celery, cut fine 2 env. Lipton's chicken noodle soup mix 4 1/2 c. water 1/2 c. raw rice Grated cheese & chopped almonds Brown sausage, pepper, onion and celery. Drain off all grease. Mix the soup mix, rice and water and boil for 7 minutes. Drain. Mix all ingredients. Put into a casserole that has a tight cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Sprinkle cheese and almonds over as soon as it is removed from oven. |
