 Samuel Campbell (United States) says:
My grandma cooked a robin pie each spring. Ten to twelve robins, defeathered, cleaned, boiled and the meat picked clean from the bones. Add a boiled egg, chopped fine, some precooked vegetables and a good pie crust with a top. She said it was good for your kidneys. I tried it. Wasn't bad.
Guess what? She killed them with a homemade sling shot.
