CREAM CHEESE CHERRY CAKE 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 lb. butter
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 lg. eggs
2 1/4 c. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 lb. red glace cherries
1/4 lb. green glace cherries
1/4 lb. yellow glace pineapple

Chop fruit and toss with 1/4 cup flour. Cream butter and cream cheese. Add sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat thoroughly after each. Sift flour, baking powder and add to creamed mixture. Add floured fruit and blend with a spoon. I add 1/2 teaspoon of almond flavoring. Bake in well greased pans. Bake 70 minutes at 300 degrees. Cool in pan for 5 minutes. Makes 2 loaves.
