| NO BAKE CHOCOLATE OATMEAL COOKIES | |

1 stick butter 1/2 c. milk 1/2 c. cocoa 2 c. sugar 2 c. oatmeal 1/2 c. chopped nuts Boil butter, sugar and milk 3 minutes only in medium saucepan. Remove from heat and mix in remaining ingredients thoroughly. Drop on wax paper by spoonfuls. Let cool. | |

Out of all the above recipe's for the chocolate oatmeal cookies yours is the closest to the recipe my mother got from a friend from England about sixty years ago. I have tried others cookies and come nowhere close to the wonderful cookies me and my three sister's made while we were growing up in Hot Springs,Ar. I still make them and crave them to this day.
