1 c. Crisco
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Cream Crisco, butter, and sugar; add remaining ingredients and blend well. Roll into small balls and press with bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees to only lightly brown.
