AMARETTO BANANA BREAD & AMARETTO
BUTTER
 
1/3 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. sifted all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. mashed ripe bananas
4 tbsp. Amaretto
4 tbsp. honey
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. pecans

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder and add to creamed mixture alternately with bananas, blending well. Add Amaretto, honey, cinnamon and chopped pecans and blend well again. Place in one large buttered loaf pan or three small loaf pans or a four cup ring mold plus a small loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Cool; then dust with powdered sugar.

AMARETTO BUTTER:

1 stick butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 2/3 tbsp. Amaretto

Whip in food processor until well blended.
