1 c. sugar 2 tbsp. salt 2 pkg. yeast (fast acting) 13 c. flour (sift first then measure) 4 c. warm water 2/3 c. oil (save 1/4 cup), put in water and yeast Put in 7 cups and stir until flour disappears. Put in 6 more and stir until blended. Grease sides of bowl. Put dough in greased bowl. Add remainder of oil on top of dough and knead. Let rise until double. Roll out and place in pan. Bake at 375 degrees in electric oven or 350 degrees in gas oven. Bake for 10 minutes. DO NOT OPEN OVEN. Turn pan all the way around bake 10 minutes more and take out. Cool. Place in plastic bag. Will freeze up to 3 months. Very good! Also makes 48 rolls. |
