1 c. flour
1 egg
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 to 1/2 c. onions
1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. cream corn
1 c. meal
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Mix all ingredients into a batter that is almost soupy. Drop by spoonfils into hot deep fat and cook until golden brown.
