SHREDDED COOKED CABBAGE 
1 head green cabbage (shredded)
6-8 pieces bacon (fried crisp)
1-2 med. onions (chopped fine)

Stir and fry cabbage using bacon grease. Stir often and fry for approximately 1/2 hour. (Keep lid on skillet.) If not done, fry for another 15 minutes. Simmer together for a while.
