1 pkg. saltine crackers (salted or unsalted tops) 1 c. (2 sticks) butter 1 c. brown sugar, packed 1 c. chocolate chips Chopped nuts (optional) Line a 17x11 inch cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Cover foil with crackers. In medium saucepan, combine butter and brown sugar. Stir constantly until butter is melted. Pour over crackers. Bake at 350 degrees for exactly 15 minutes. Pour chocolate chips over crackers. Let melt and even out with knife. Top with nuts, if desired. Cool. Break into pieces to eat. A quick and easy recipe. |
