OYSTER STEW 
2 cans fresh oysters
1 clove garlic
butter, about 3 tbsp.
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Dash of Tabasco
2 c. milk or light cream

In a saucepan melt butter. Add garlic and saute until golden brown. Remove. Add oysters and cook until they begin to curl around the edges. Don't over cook. Add Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco. Add milk or cream. Add salt and pepper. Heat through. You may add a small amount of flour beaten with the milk to thicken slightly.
