2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
4 c. unpeeled apples, sliced
3/4 c. chopped nuts
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
Dash of salt

Mix. Batter will be thick. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. (Better if baked a day or so ahead.)

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:

8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. confectioner's sugar
6 tbsp. butter

Mix and spread on cake.
