CHEESY SCALLOPED POTATOES 
6-8 med. potatoes, pared & thinly sliced
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
1/3 c. flour
1-2 c. grated American cheese (depends on how cheesy you like it)
Salt & pepper to taste
2 c. milk
1/2 stick butter

Place half the potatoes in greased 2 quart casserole. Add half the onion. Sift half the flour over; sprinkle with 1/2 seasoning and cheese. Repeat layers. Pour milk over all. Slice butter all over. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours. Uncover and bake 15 minutes.
