KITTY KI KATY IRISH KISSES 
3 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. peppermint extract
Dash of salt
1 c. sugar
36 chocolate kiss candies
Green sugar crystal sprinkled

Beat egg whites with cream of tartar, vanilla, peppermint, and dash of salt until soft peaks form. Add sugar gradually beating until stiff. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet 1 1/2 inches apart.

Press candy kiss into top of each spoonful on meringue. Bring meringue up and over candy with spatula, covering completely; swirl top. Sprinkle with green crystals. Bake at 275 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove and cool on rack.

Makes 3 dozen.
