OUR FAVORITE PIZZA DOUGH 
1 pkg. active dry yeast
1 tsp. sugar
1 c. warm water (105-115 degrees)
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. baking soda
3 - 3 1/4 c. sifted all purpose flour

IN large bowl, sprinkle yeast and sugar over warm water; stir until dissolved. Stir in oil, salt and enough flour to make a soft dough.

Turn dough out onto lightly floured surface. Knead until dough is smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes.

Place in greased large bowl, turning dough over to grease top. Cover; let rise in warm place 30 minutes. (I have used it without the raising.)

Punch dough down; turn out onto lightly floured surface. Knead until no longer sticky, about 30 seconds. Cover and let rest 5 minutes. Divide dough in half. Pat and stretch each dough half into greased 12" round pizza pan. Fill with pizza toppings. Bake on lowest rack in 400 degree oven for 20 minutes.
