Sm. honeydew melon
1 pt. strawberries
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. lime juice
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 bottle dry champagne or sparkling white wine

Halve honeydew and scoop out seeds. Cut into quarters and cut away from rind. Cut flesh into bite-size chunks. Place in large bowl and refrigerate. Rinse strawberries in water and hull. Cut in half. Place in medium size bowl, cover and refrigerate.

In medium size bowl combine sugar, lime juice and ginger. Set aside. Just before serving stir champagne into ginger mixture. Pour dressing over both bowls of fruit and toss. In serving bowl arrange honeydew around strawberries.
