ANGEL BISCUITS 
1/2 c. warm water
1 pkg. yeast
5 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
2 c. buttermilk (milk soured with vinegar can be substituted)

Dissolve yeast in water. Combine dry ingredients; cut in shortening. Add yeast mixture and buttermilk. Stir until flour is just moistened - don't overmix. Place in covered bowl and chill. Roll and cut. Place on greased sheet at 400 degrees for 12 minutes. This will keep in the refrigerator for several days.
