1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. chopped apples
1/4 c. nutmeats
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. cold coffee
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix the sugar and butter well and add the egg; blend all together. Next add the cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Put in the chopped apples and the nutmeats. Mix. Add the flour and the cocoa. Then add the baking soda, mixed with cold coffee and then put in vanilla. Put it in a bread pan or small cake pan.

Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake it for 45 minutes.
