FRUITED MINT TEA | |
3 c. boiling water 12 fresh mint sprigs 4 regular size tea bags 1 c. sugar 5 c. cold water 1 c. orange juice 1/4 c. lemon juice mint sprigs or orange wedges (garnishes) Pour boiling water over 12 mint sprigs and tea bags. Cover and let stand 5 minutes. Remove and discard mint sprigs and tea bags, squeezing tea bags gently. Add sugar, stirring until dissolved. Stir in cold water, orange juice and lemon juice. Serve over ice. Garnish, if desired. Yields about 2 1/2 quarts. |
