GRANDMA BROOK'S CHILI SAUCE 
2 doz. lg. tomatoes
4 green peppers
2 red peppers
5 lg. onions
Mixed spices
3 1/2 c. white vinegar
2 1/2 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. coarse salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. nutmeg

Chop tomatoes, peppers and onions fine. Boil all slowly together, then add spices, sugar and boil 3 to 4 hours. Put into jars while hot and seal. Makes approximately 15 half pints.
