LEMON ICED BARS 
1 stick butter (1/4 lb.)
1 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 tsp. baking powder

ICING:

3/4 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice

Mix well first 3 ingredients. Press in well buttered pan, 7 x 11 inch. Bake 15 minutes at 325 degrees.

Sift dry ingredients, add eggs and lemon juice. Pour on baked crust. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Combine last 3 ingredients to make icing. Spread on top. Cut into squares or bars.
