CHRISTMAS FUDGE | |
1/2 c. butter 14 1/2 oz. can evaporated milk 4 1/2 c. pure cane sugar 1/2 lb. marshmallows 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate 2 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips 3 (4 oz.) pkg. sweet baking chocolate 1 tbsp. vanilla 2 c. chopped nuts (optional) Combine butter, milk and sugar in a Dutch oven. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil; cover. Boil 5 minutes, then remove from heat. Add marshmallows; stir until melted. Add chocolate, one type at a time, stirring until melted. Add vanilla and nuts; blend. Pour into buttered pans. Let stand until firm. |
