BREAKFAST BRAN OATMEAL MUFFINS 
2 c. 100% Bran cereal
2 c. boiling water
2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
4 eggs
1 qt. buttermilk
5 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
5 tsp. baking soda
4 c. rolled oats
1 c. raisins

Pour boiling water over cereal, set aside. Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs and mix well. Add milk and cereal. Mix together flour, salt and soda and add just until mixed. Add oats and raisins. Bake in muffin pans at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
