MOM'S SHORTBREAD 
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. shortening
Warm water (approximately 1 water glass)

Bake at 400 degrees. Blend dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. Mixture should feel moist. (If not moist, add a little shortening.) Fill water glass with warm water. Add little along until dough can be rolled. (Dough should not break apart.) Bake on ungreased pan. Either pat out hand size cakes or spread on cookie sheet. Prick top of dough few times with fork.
