BEEF STEAK ROLL 
Prepare a bread dressing such as one uses for chicken. Pound a round steak a little but not very hard; spread the dressing over it, lapping over the ends. Roll the steak up tightly and tie. Spread 2 tablespoons butter over it. Put a little water in the pan, lay steak in and bake, basting often.

Bake in a brisk oven. Make a brown gravy and serve hot.
