QUICK IRISH SODA BREAD | |
3 c. sifted flour 1 tbsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. granulate dsugar 1 1/2 c. raisins 1 3/4 c. buttermilk 3 tbsp. oil 2 eggs, beaten Sift dry ingredients together. Dredge raisins in flour mixture. Combine buttermilk, eggs and oil. Add to dry ingredients and combine well. Put in greased and floured bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until tested done. Cool. Invert on cake plate and serve as a sweet bread. |
