SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN | |
4 boneless, skinned chicken breasts 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 onion, chopped 3 tbsp. ketchup 3 tbsp. sugar 2 tbsp. soy sauce 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1/8 tsp. black pepper 1 tbsp. cornstarch In large frying pan over medium heat, saute chopped onion in oil until soft. In small bowl, combine ketchup, sugar, soy sauce, lemon juice and black pepper. Add to pan with onions. Add chicken - simmer 25-35 minutes. Remove chicken. Dissolve cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water. Add to pan with sauce. Stir until thickened. Pour over chicken. |
