THE GOVERNOR OF MONTANA'S TURKEY
SOPA
 
1 doz. corn tortillas, cut into 1" strips
3 c. cooked turkey or chicken
1/2 stick butter
1 jar Old El Paso taco sauce
1 med. onion, chopped
1 can diced green chilies
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can consomme
1 lb. Jack cheese & 1 lb. Cheddar cheese, shredded

Melt butter. Add onions. Cook until tender. Add green chilies, taco sauce, soup and turkey or chicken. Place layer of tortillas on bottom of 2 inch deep casserole. Place alternate layers of soup mixture, tortillas and cheese. Repeat for 3 layers - making sure top layer is cheese. Bake 30 minutes - 1 hour until thoroughly heated and cheese is melted at 350 degrees. Serves 8-10.
