DRESSING FOR FRUIT SALAD 
1 c. pineapple juice
1 tbsp. vinegar
Dab of butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
3 tbsp. cornstarch

Put pineapple juice and vinegar in top of double boiler. Add butter and heat. Mix sugar, egg, and cornstarch together and stir into hot mixture; return to heat. Cook until slightly thickened and cool. Pour over fresh fruits.
