TASTY TURKEY LOAF 
1 slice white bread
1/4 c. milk
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 lb. ground turkey
1/2 env. (or more) dry onion soup mix
2 tbsp. finely chopped green pepper
1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning (optional)
Salt and pepper as desired

Tear bread into small pieces and soak in milk. Blend thoroughly but lightly with remaining ingredients. Bake in small loaf pan in 350 degrees oven until firm or form ring in round microwave dish and microwave on high for approximately 8 minutes. Can easily be doubled. Especially good served with slightly diluted and heated mushroom soup for a sauce or make your own as follows.

MUSHROOM SAUCE:

Saute several slices fresh mushrooms in 3 tablespoons of butter. Add 2 tablespoons of flour. Stir while adding 1 cup milk. Cook until it thickens to desired consistency. More milk may be added if necessary. Season with salt, white pepper and paprika. Serve over slices of turkey loaf.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
