QUICK TOMATO MEAT SAUCE 
1 tsp. cooking oil
1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
6 lg. tomatoes, peeled, seeded and cut up
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/4 c. red wine (optional)

In a large skillet, heat cooking oil; add beef, onion and garlic; cook until meat is no longer pink. Set aside. In blender, combine remaining ingredients; process for 30 seconds. Add tomato mixture to meat in skillet; simmer 20-25 minutes.

Makes about 6 cups. Serve hot over your favorite pasta.
