SPICED FRUIT COMPOTE 
2 medium-size apples, peeled & cut in eighths
1 (1 lb.) can pineapple chunks
1/2 c. whole cranberry sauce
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1/16 tsp. cloves
1/16 tsp. allspice
1 tbsp. syrup from pineapple

Layer apples and pineapple in a 1 1/2 quart glass casserole. Combine whole cranberry sauce with spices and pineapple syrup. Spoon over other fruits. Cook uncovered 10 to 12 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm or chilled.
