2 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. chopped celery
2 c. chopped onions
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground pork
1 c. butter
2 tsp. salt
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms with liquid
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1/3 c. chopped stuffed olives
1 (8 oz.) can meatless tomato-mushroom sauce
1 lb. broad noodles
2 c. grated American cheese

In a large skillet saute peppers, celery and onions and ground beef in hot butter. Add salt. Reduce heat, cook 5 minutes. Stir in olives, mushrooms and can liquid, soup and sauces. Cook 5 minutes. Cook noodles, drain. Turn noodles into 14 x 10 x 2 1/2 inch roasting pan. Add sauce, gently stir. Sprinkle grated cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

Serves 12.
