T.'S CHILI | |
2 lbs. chili meat (or coarse ground beef) 2 pkgs. chili seasonings mix 1 lg. onion 1 lg. green pepper 2 lg. cans stewed tomatoes 1 can kidney beans 1 can pinto beans Heat 1 tablespoon cooking oil in heavy skillet (Dutch oven). Brown meat; drain. Add chopped onion and pepper and seasoning. Cook over medium heat until onions turn transparent. Add tomatoes and beans and hot peppers. Simmer about an hour. Can add tomato juice or water if needed. Serves 4 to 6. |
