PECAN PIE 
2 c. pecan halves
1 env. Butter Buds in 1/2 c. water
3 c. fructose
5 tsp. vanilla
3 Eggbeaters
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar free syrup
1 c. brown sugar replacement
1/2 c. cornstarch
1 plain pastry recipe

Mix butter, salt, syrup, fructose, brown sugar, vanilla, cornstarch, and Eggbeaters together thoroughly. Line two pie pans with pastry shells. Place pecans on bottom of pastry shells. Pour mixture over nuts. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 353 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Makes two 9-inch pies.
