LASAGNE 
1/2 c. minced onion
2 tbsp. salad oil
1 lb. ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. oregano
2 tbsp. parsley
1 lb. 12 oz. tomato puree
8 oz. tomato sauce
2 tbsp. Parmesan, grated
1/2 lb. lasagne noodles
3/4 lb. Mozzarella, sliced
1 lb. ricotta cheese
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper

SAUCE:

Saute onion in oil, add beef and brown. Add seasonings, puree, sauce and Parmesan. Simmer covered about 30 minutes.

Cook lasagne noodles. Mix ricotta with egg, salt and pepper. Layer 1/3 of meat sauce in 9 x 13 inch dish. Top with half noodles, half of both cheeses. Top with remaining sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let stand for 45 minutes before serving.
