LASAGNA 
2 lb. ground beef
1 lb. Italian sausage
3 jars spaghetti sauce with mushrooms (Prego)
8 to 10 lasagna noodles
12 oz. Swiss cheese, grated
1 lb. mozzarella cheese, grated
16 oz. cottage cheese
2 eggs
Parmesan cheese
2 tsp. garlic powder

Brown ground beef with garlic powder. Pour off fat, set aside. Cook cut up Italian sausage, set aside. Mix sauce and meats and simmer for approximately 15 minutes. Mix cottage cheese and eggs together. Cook noodles according to directions, rinse and lay out flat.

Grease 3 quart casserole, put a layer of sauce and meat on bottom, then noodles, Swiss cheese, mozzarella, cottage cheese-egg mixture. Repeat each layer. End with layer of sauce-meat. Dust with Parmesan cheese. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. After baking, let stand 10 minutes before serving.

Better if fixed day ahead and frozen. Let thaw then cook. Yields 8 servings.
