LAZY LASAGNE | |
1 lb. Italian sausage or hamburger 32 oz. spaghetti sauce 15 oz. cottage cheese 1/2 tsp. oregano 1 egg 8 oz. uncooked lasagne noodles 16 oz. sliced Mozzarella 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese 1 c. water 2 tsp. chopped chives (optional) Brown meat and drain. Add sauce and water and blend well. Simmer 5 minutes. Combine cottage cheese, chives, oregano and egg and mix well. In 9x13 pan, put 1 1/2 cups meat sauce. Then add 1/2 noodles and 1/2 of cheese mixture and 1/2 Mozzarella. Repeat. On top put remaining meat sauce and Parmesan cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight. You don't have to refrigerate but it may be necessary to increase baking time, add 20 minutes. Bake 350 degrees uncovered for 50-60 minutes until bubbly. |
