APPLE CIDER POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter, softened (butter)
1/2 c. Crisco shortening
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. apple pie spice
1 c. apple cider
1 tsp. vanilla flavor

Cream butter and shortening. Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Combine next 4 ingredients. Add to creamed mixture alternately with apple cider, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Stir in vanilla flavor.

Pour batter in greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour 20 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
