WET - BOTTOM SHOOFLY PIE | |
1 1/2 c. flour 1 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. shortening 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda 2/3 c. hot water 2/3 c. molasses 1 (9 inch) crust Make crumbs by combining flour, sugar, shortening, salt and rubbing mixture between hands. Dissolve baking soda in hot water and combine with molasses. Pour into pastry lined pie plate, top with crumbs and bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until filling is set. |
