I made this pie yesterdays for BBQ with friends and got rave reviews. I didn't use the butter no need (for the extra fat). I also used 3 cups berries and 2 cups apples. The apples are just a filler for your precious huckleberries, you can't taste the apples and mellows out the hucks.
