PIZZA - COUNTRY STYLE
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. lukewarm water
1 tsp. sugar
1 c. hot tap water
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. cornmeal
2 3/4 c. flour
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can spaghetti sauce
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Cheddar cheese, shredded
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 to 2 lbs. ground beef

Dissolve 1 package yeast in 1/4 cup lukewarm water with 1 teaspoon sugar added. Set aside. Combine 1 cup hot water, sugar, salt, oil, baking powder and cornmeal. Add yeast mixture and flour. Mix well. Let stand in covered bowl 20 minutes or until doubled in bulk. Punch down and shape into 2 (14-inch) pizza pans that have been well greased. Add sauce and toppings of your choice. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. (Cornmeal makes the "crunchy" difference.)
